From ancient scriptures to modern science, from rural farms to urban homes – water is the thread that binds all life. Yet today, we are facing an unprecedented water crisis. To address this, Daatha Foundation has launched a transformative initiative – “Jalanidhi” – aiming to preserve and regenerate our most vital resource: water.
What is Jalanidhi?
“Jalanidhi” means “Treasure of Water.”
It is a rural water conservation movement driven by Daatha Foundation to ensure water security for every family, farmer, and village. The program includes building rainwater harvesting pits, restoring traditional water bodies, promoting groundwater recharge, and educating communities on sustainable water practices.
Our Core Goals:
Harvest rainwater in every village
Revive groundwater through recharge pits
