The Story of the Founder – Sri Nara Damodara Naidu

On December 7, 2016, a quiet but powerful idea was born in the mind of Sri Nara Damodara Naidu—an idea not for personal gain, but for collective growth. A man deeply connected to his land, his people, and the truth of nature, Damodara Naidu saw injustice not in grand acts of evil, but in daily neglect—of children, of values, of rural life.

He began not with money or fame, but with a notebook, a strong will, and compassion.

His early life gave him firsthand experience of rural struggles—families broken by poverty, children excluded from schools, and villages forgotten by systems. But he believed in a different power: Satyam (Truth), Dharmam (Righteous Duty), and Nyayam (Justice). These weren’t just ideals to him—they were laws of life.

He traveled village to village, listening more than speaking. He found children with special needs hidden away, young girls denied education, and youth without hope. So, he took action. Slowly. Silently.

By 2017, he began informal educational support for special children. He brought therapists and teachers together. He organized village health camps, storytelling sessions, and awareness drives. What made him different? He did not wait for support. He became the support.

In 2019, his dream took the shape of the Daatha Foundation Trust—named after the ideal of ‘Daatha’ meaning ‘the one who gives selflessly’.

Daatha Foundation began to focus on:

  • Special education

  • Youth empowerment

  • Healthcare access

  • Cultural preservation

  • Sustainable living

When COVID-19 arrived in 2020, while the world paused, Damodara Naidu’s efforts expanded. He and his small team distributed learning kits, food, and sanitation supplies to hundreds of families. He converted crisis into opportunity—building community-based learning hubs.

In the years that followed, his vision grew with programs like:

  • Daatha Green Park (environment education)

  • Women Hygienic Empowerment Campaign

  • Daatha Youth Leadership Events

  • Drawing & Science Competitions for Students

  • Village Farming & Traditional Knowledge Programs

He believed:

“Nature is the only Truth. Living in balance with it is Dharma. Justice is achieved only through harmony, not power.”

In 2023, he launched the Daatha Next Generation School Project—a futuristic educational ecosystem based on AI and ethics. He envisioned AI as a tool for truth, not distraction—combining sustainability, culture, and technology for a better future.

In 2024, he began writing and collecting oral stories from villages, creating books for children rooted in native wisdom and language. The “Why?” Campaign he launched encouraged students to question, think, and act with awareness.

His story isn’t about one man’s achievements. It is about restoring humanity in a system that often forgets its soul.

He still personally visits villages. He still writes ideas in his notebook. He still believes truth is found in nature, not in ego.
