Founder’s Story: Nara Damodara Naidu
The Heart Behind Daatha Foundation Trust
Early Life and Inspiration
Nara Damodara Naidu was raised in a humble village setting, where he experienced firsthand the challenges of rural life: limited access to education, healthcare, and opportunity. Despite the hardship, he dreamed of a world driven by truth, service, and values.
“The strength of a nation lies not in cities, but in the heartbeat of its villages.” – Nara Damodara Naidu
Vision Awakens – The Birth of Daatha
In 2016, Daatha Foundation Trust was born, not just as an NGO, but as a movement and philosophy. “Daatha” means “the giver”—the Foundation’s purpose is to serve without expectation, inspired by the principles of Satyam, Dharmam, and Nyayam.
Education – His First Love
Daatha focuses on real learning. Initiatives include scholarships, AI learning centers, the "Why?" concept, and bilingual educational booklets—fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
Nature, Vasthu, and Cultural Revival
As a believer in Indian wisdom, Damodara Naidu promotes harmony with nature through Vasthu education, Green Park initiatives, and village sustainability. Prakriti is truth, he often says.
Women’s Empowerment
He launched numerous women's programs including health camps, leadership training, and rural financial literacy through the Daatha Mahila Gramam initiative.
“Empowering one woman transforms an entire generation.”
Youth – The Torchbearers
From leadership books to communication workshops, youth empowerment is central to his mission. “Youth are today’s changemakers,” he says.
Knowledge Without Books & Spiritual Foundation
He initiated non-traditional learning through life experiences, Dharma workshops, and public booklets like “Daatha Power Book” and “Law of Nature.”
The Daatha Attitude – Philosophy in Action
Everything is guided by a simple yet powerful philosophy:
- Truth is Nature (Satyam = Prakriti)
- Righteousness is Work (Dharmam = Karma)
- Justice is Balance (Nyayam = Satyam + Dharmam)
Impact and Recognition
Thousands of families benefited. 100+ public booklets, awareness programs, educational reforms, and sustainable village models. Yet, for Damodara Naidu, the greatest reward is a child’s smile.
His Life Today – A Silent Worker
He continues to serve from the grassroots, with humility and vision. Daatha is not a man—it’s a movement.
“If I disappear tomorrow, let the work continue. Let Daatha not be a man, but a movement.”
Final Words
Nara Damodara Naidu’s journey is not one of fame but of flame—a flame that ignites truth, compassion, and action in thousands of hearts.
